Civility: Reclaiming the Idea of America

July 10 at Noon
The Westin, 1900 5th Ave.

In this presidential election year and new year for Seattle4, we will focus frequently on civic engagement and civil discourse.  Our program on July 10 will explore how we can frame the discussions of the year by seeking to understand more deeply how “civility” is essential to being citizens united for the common good of America and its ideals.

In addition, Seattle4 member, Jim Moore, will lead a tribute to our beloved member and polio prevention advocate, Steve Crane, who passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 27.

Following the public presentation, Seattle 4 Rotary members are invited to attend an exclusive reception with Jeff Robinson featuring heavy appetizers and a no-host bar. Members do not need to register for this and are allowed to bring one guest.  Please make sure to bring your name badge for entry.
