The Community Service Committee is hosting a toy drive to benefit children escaping homelessness, and it’s easier than ever to participate with their Amazon Wishlist.
Just click on the link below, select the items you wish to purchase. When you are done, select “Proceed to Checkout”.
If you are not already logged in to Amazon, you will be asked to do so. If you are not a member of Amazon, you will need to create an account. If you do not wish to create an account, you can give a gift of cash here and note in the memo that you would like the money to be used to purchase items for the toy store: https://give.wellspringfs.org/fundraiser/2474834.
When you get to the page where you can select an address, look at the “Other Addresses” list. If you see “Wellspring Family Services – Baby Boutique’s Gift Registry Address,” check that address and proceed. If you do not see that appear, you will need to add the following address: Wellspring Family Services Rotary Giving Tree, 1900 Rainier Avenue S, Seattle, WA 98144.
With growing a growing membership and influx of new, younger members, Seattle City Rotaract is more active than ever! Highlights from this quarter include volunteering with Seattle 4 Rotarians at the holiday shopping for kids event, attending the REST site visit, volunteering with Harvest Against Hunger, and a holiday social with Seattle 4 members just his week! All Rotaract Club meetings and events are open for Rotarians to attend – both the young and young at heart! Here are a few upcoming events that we would love to see you at:
Seattle City Rotaract is a club of young professionals aged 21-30 sponsored by Seattle 4 Rotary that focuses on hands-on service in the local community and leadership development. Do you have any recent college grads, interns, or emerging professionals in your life that might be interested? Encourage them to check out the Rotaract Club at seattecityrotaract.org.
Together, Rotarians Transform the World
As Rotarians, we are leaders connecting for extraordinary good –both in our community and around the world. Together we are eradicating polio and malaria, bringing fresh water to rural villages worldwide to stop the spread of disease, and helping our neighbors in need with housing, healthy foods, and educational opportunities.
Once a year we ask you to fulfill your membership obligations and take action by making two gifts that will transform our world. One is to the Seattle Rotary Service Foundation (SRSF). The other is to The Rotary Foundation (TRF). Thank you for taking action now to help our club have a powerful and positive impact on our world.
