Do You Have Any Musical Instruments to Donate to Students in Need?
Music4Life is a non-profit and project of Rotary District 5030 that distributes musical instruments to public school students in need.
We welcome any gently used musical instruments you wish to donate. They can be delivered directly to these local music stores that are now open: American Music in Phinney Ridge and Kennelly Keys Music in Bellevue, Lynnwood, and Everett.

Former Washington State Governor Chris Gregoire, CEO of Challenge Seattle, will discuss Washington Employers for Racial Equity (WERE)– a new statewide coalition of nearly 80 Washington CEOs and business leaders committed to building a more racially equitable future. Join us as Chris shares the journey that this new coalition has been on to better understand how racial bias and structural inequities affect the lives of Black Washingtonians and how the business community can advance equity for all. Learn how the coalition has committed to working collectively to achieve parity in hiring, pay, and promotion for Black Washingtonians, support Black-owned businesses, and invest in racial equity across the state.
Our opening music video, Somewhere over the Rainbowwas a personal favorite of our long-time Seattle 4 member Carolyn Hojaboom. We were all saddened by the news of her recent passing and wish to thank Cathy Gibson for a wonderful tribute.
Seattle Rotary 4 is playing its part in brightening up Seattle as it reopens and revitalizes. Be on the lookout for our colorful banners designed by local artists that will adorn poles throughout the city later this summer. Thank you to Jeff Parker, Jim Loder, and the Arts Committee for making this project a reality.
"My heart is in helping people find hope". Ryan is the Lead Pastor and President of the Board of Calvary Christian Assembly and has found a home with Seattle Rotary 4. We thank Jimmy Collins and Harold Scoggins for proposing Ryan under the classification of Religious Organizations.
The Emerging Role of Subnational Governments in Global Affairs
The featured speaker is Schuyler Hoss, Director of International Relations and Protocol in the office of WA State Governor Jay Inslee. All are welcome to join.
What better way to reconnect and meet new friends while bringing downtown Seattle back to life than to join fellow Rotarians for a summer city walk followed by an opportunity to sit down over a libation?
Seattle 4 Rotarian and architect, Lori Walker, will point out key architectural details as we walk from the WAC to Pike Market and back.
Cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, music, and real people will join together to thank President Jeff Borek for his year of service. Significant others are welcome. Plan to attend our first in-person event of the 2020-21 Rotary year!
Tickets are $10.00 per person and include two drink tickets. Cash bar for additional drinks.
To ensure everyone's safety, a vaccination or negative COVID test within 72 hours of the reception will be required to attend.
Our fellow member, Laurel James, invites you to join her at her six acre compound in Lake Forest Park for a Family 4th of July Celebration! Come enjoy a day of fellowship and activities including basketball, softball, soccer, hiking, and running. Enjoy spending time by the creek on the property. Bring a potluck dish to share. There will be a keg of beer. If you desire other beverages bring them with you. Bring your basketball and or soccer ball. It will be a great day of family fun! The event is free but the capacity is 100 guests so please sign up in advance. There is parking on site.
