Former Washington State Governor Chris Gregoire, CEO of Challenge Seattle, will discuss Washington Employers for Racial Equity (WERE)– a new statewide coalition of nearly 80 Washington CEOs and business leaders committed to building a more racially equitable future. Join us as Chris shares the journey that this new coalition has been on to better understand how racial bias and structural inequities affect the lives of Black Washingtonians and how the business community can advance equity for all. Our opening music video, Somewhere over the Rainbow was a personal favorite of our long-time Seattle 4 member Carolyn Hojaboom. We were all saddened by the news of her recent passing and wish to thank Cathy Gibson for a wonderful tribute.

Seattle Rotary 4 is playing its part in brightening up Seattle as it reopens and revitalizes.  Be on the lookout for our colorful banners designed by local artists that will adorn poles throughout the city later this summer.  Thank you to Jeff Parker, Jim Loder, and the Arts Committee for making this project a reality.
