  • Starting five diverse businesses across Florida, Utah, and Washington
  • Serving as president of a growing, dynamic, and innovative company
  • Jointly parenting four “great human beings,” ages 15, 16, 17 and 18

These are just a few of the many accomplishments of Malcolm Waters, our newest Seattle 4 Rotary member in the Technology classification.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Jacksonville, Malcolm graduated from Edward Waters College (he promises -- no relation!).  He held increasingly responsible roles at Nextel, AOL, and the Mitel Corporation as well as established a vending machine company and three Caribbean-themed restaurants. He did all of this prior to founding his current firm, Ovation Technology.

Ovation is a single source provider, offering a wide range of technology services, products, and support to businesses across the United States. This includes anything from cabling to telephony to Wi-Fi to computer systems to hardware solutions and more. Malcolm describes himself as an “IT System Integration/Cyber Security and Value-Added Retailer.”

He is a values-oriented leader and views Rotary as a way of giving back to the community he loves so much. He believes Rotary is a great example of how to demonstrate to his kids infinite ways of helping others.

I have enjoyed getting to know him – and you will too. As you do, here are few things you can bond with him on:
  • Hiking
  • Golf
  • Fishing
  • Deep sea diving
  • Being a dad
A hearty thanks to his sponsor, Craig Dawson, for introducing Malcolm to Seattle 4 Rotary.  Welcome, Malcolm!
