It is my pleasure to introduce our newest member, Dennis Williams, who is a financial advisor with Edward Jones.  He has been nominated by Craig Dawson and Skip Rowland and his classification is Financial Advising and Wealth Management.

Dennis grew up in Seattle and attended Western Washington University where he played on the tennis team.  He was President of the Black Student Union for three years and graduated with a finance degree.  He had an internship with Russell Investments for several years.
After graduation Dennis was hoping to launch into a career in finance, but unfortunately hit the job market at the height of the Great Recession and the financial sector was hurting, particularly here in Seattle.  So, his career started with a position at Plymouth Poultry, where he worked in accounting for a few years before getting back to what he was truly passionate about by taking a position at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America as a financial advisor.  He worked at Merrill Lynch for eight years until this past February, when he switched to Edward Jones, where he now has an office in the Magnolia neighborhood.

Dennis and his wife, Kerri, have two boys named Isiaah and Isaac (yes, the I’s have it in this household), ages three and eight.  Outside of his family, his passions are tennis (no doubt, up early watching Wimbledon today!) and cooking.  The latter, cooking, he considers an important part of family time, and tennis could become the same when the I’s start hitting the courts.
