Why Seattle 4?

Of thousands of Rotary clubs in the world today, Seattle was number four, and we’ve been growing ever since. It’s a legacy that our business and community leaders take seriously, gathering weekly to manifest the Rotarian ideals of friendship, fellowship, and service. As one of the world’s largest Rotary clubs, we can and do make big things happen in our local and global communities.

Over the decades, Rotary Club of Seattle has provided a forum for prominent people from business, civic, and academia in the United States and around the world. They have found the club to be an excellent venue to present their views on topical issues and encourage support for their programs and causes.

Like a Box of Chocolates: President Sue Nixon's Last Meeting

Sue’s team has put together a fantastic program to highlight this year’s changing of the gavel.   Don’t miss this special tribute which will include Ingrid Nixon (no relation), a world-traveling storyteller who will whisk us away on a journey of the imagination. Exploration nail-biters, tall tales, traditional and personal stories—she will unfurl them all as we celebrate President Sue’s year of service.

Rabbi Daniel Weiner will follow and inspire us with his talk, The Things We Share: Our Challenges, Our Efforts, and Our Future.  And, of course there will be a music including Sue’s band!

Thursday After Party: 5:00pm  at the Triple Door, 216 Union Street.

Meeting Information

We meet Wednesdays at 12 pm at various venues across downtown Seattle.
